Drift Diver
2 Days | 2 Open Water Dives
Like a shark, you'll glide over the reef. The underwater world whizzes by fast - often faster than you can swim, and faster than many DPVs. Yet, you barely flick a fin, you roll effortlessly while smiling to your buddy. This is a typical drift dive - floating with the current rather than trying to swim against it. It's not only easier and more relaxing but in some places it's the only practical way to dive because the current is too strong.
The PADI Drift Diver courses teaches you the specialised techniques you need to know to enjoy drift diving. In the course, you learn the techniques for staying with your buddy, drifting in a group, different entries appropriate for different types of drift diving, and safety considerations. The course covers all three of the primary drift diving techniques used throughout the world: with floats, without floats and the use of DSMBs.
Whether you drift dive primarily because conditions call for it, or because you love it for its own sake and seek it, the PADI Drift Diver Course covers what you need to know to go with the flow.

Plus, by diving with EANx Nitrox you may feel less tired on your vacation.
