Jeff's Palm Resort sits atop Praia de Jangamo, in the beautfiul Jangamo Bay just south of Tofo in Inhambane Province, 520km north of Maputo and 30km south of Inhambane. Jangamo beach was recently included in the "New York Times" list of the world's top beaches. The road to the resort is tarred except for the last 20km, which is sand road through coconut and cashew nut plantations. 4-Wheel drive vehicles are preferable, and pick-ups can be arranged from Inhambane town or airport. Our resident diving outlet, Jeff's Pro Dive Centre, is a PADI 5 star Gold Palm Instructor Development Centre (IDC) offering all PADI courses from open water through to divemaster and instructor. It is the ideal place to learn to dive or continue your education and offers world class diving in an unforgettable location: manta rays, whale sharks, and humpback whales are all regular visitors.

Jeff's Pro Dive Centre employs a staff of 4 full time PADI instructors, 3 qualified and experienced skippers, including the longest serving skipper in Guinjata Bay, as well as divemaster trainees, and full-time local dive crew. We also have a resident underwater videographer, to ensure our guests can take home those special memories and re-live them time and time again.

We have two 8.3 metre semi-rigid ribs powered by twin 85hp two stroke motors. Nitrox fills for up to a 40% mix are available upon request. We are an extremely professional, friendly and customer-orientated centre, our international staff have experience all over the world and are very passionate about diving in Mozambique and sharing that passion with our guests.

Whether you are a beginner or a seasoned pro, our dive sites are guaranteed not to disappoint. Our signature site, world famous Manta Reef is just a 20 minute boat ride away, has 3 registered Manta Ray cleaning stations and is teeming with reef fish of every variety. Closer to home, our local reefs will satisfy divers of all tastes. You can go cruising along the Paindane Express, check out the swim-throughs at Caves, or if macro photography is your thing, the resident nudibranch population at Pao Rock will have you clicking away to your heart's content.

Even if diving is not your thing (yet!), why not come along on one of our spectacular ocean safaris, where you'll get the chance to swim with dolphins, the beautiful and mysterious whale sharks and even marvel at the magnificent humpback whales. These boats often encounter other sea life such as manta rays, turtles, marlins, nurse sharks and dolphins as well. Fishing charters (catch, tag and release) are also available for those up to the challenge of wrestling the mighty sailfish.
